Vista, CA –Throughout June, March and Ash collected 720 pounds of food, which equates to 3,349 individual meals, to be donated to pet owners in San Diego and Imperial Valley!

The San Diego-based cannabis dispensary partnered with both the San Diego Humane Society and the Humane Society of Imperial County to help furry friends in need, by asking customers to donate dog or cat food at any of their four locations – in Vista, Mission Valley, City Heights, or Imperial Valley.

San Diego Humane Society is an open-admission shelter creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona, and San Diego, they provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. Donations will be given to the Community Pet Pantry, a safety-net program of the San Diego Humane Society that helps keep pets with their families by providing essential food and supplies to thousands of struggling pet owners each month.

The Humane Society of Imperial Valley‘s mission is to better the community for both animals and people by placing as many orphaned pets as possible into loving forever homes, and to enhance the relationship between animals and people through education.
