Mojalet is celebrating 30 consecutive years of creating and presenting work in SD. Please join us this season as we bring back iconic work and share new work that fills the space with humor and full body, athletic movement.

Meet Nicole Wooding

NICOLE WOODING. is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher from San Diego, CA. Focusing in classical ballet she trained at San Diego Civic Youth Ballet for 14 years under Penny Huffor and Xavier Hicks. Through those years she spent three Summer seasons studying and performing at the Detroit Opera House with American Ballet Theater. After meeting Faith Jensen-Ismay at Mesa College, where she danced and choreographed with the Mesa College Dance Company, she began fully training with Mojalet in 2014. Since then, she has had the honor of performing locally and in Switzerland with Mojalet Dance Company. Nicole has taught ballet, jazz, contemporary, acro, and rhythmic gymnastics throughout San Diego since 2010. As of 2015, she is teaching at Inspire School of Ballet in Chula Vista where is also the Preschool director. Nicole is so grateful to be involved in such healthy and happy dance environments.

It’s been great to have Christina as part of our team for so many years performing, teaching and helping to shape new work. I hope you can come make our program Mixed Sundry at the Vine to see her in motion. Check out our web site for detail on our amazing season we have planned. Sincerely, Faith.
