STREET LEGACY: SOCAL STYLE MASTERS
JUNE 25 – AUGUST 28

Co-curated by Bobby Ruiz, CEO and co-founder of Tribal Streetwear, and Dr. G. James Daichendt, professor of Art History at Point Loma Nazarene University and a leading academic in the field of street culture, Street Legacy: SoCal Style Masters features close to 100 artists and explores what it means to be an artist that is inspired by the streets of Southern California. Aspects of graffiti, street art, skateboarding, surfing, tattoos, hip hop, breaking, punk, lowriders, and custom culture expressed through a range of media are included in the exhibition.
The exhibition will include new artworks created for the exhibition and temporary mural installations inside the galleries.
RTIST RECEPTION
Friday | June 24 | 6pm – 9pm
Mix and mingle with artists and exhibition co-curators. The opening reception will include drink tickets and entertainment in the Museum’s Sculpture Courtyard.

The Center’s campus will host a lowrider car show featuring cars curated by Bobby Ruiz. Beverage stations, a vendor market, and food trucks will be on-site to enjoy a full day at the Center.
