One of six non-profits to compete for donations to benefit troubled youth
Vista, CA…New Haven Youth and Family Services is proud to announce that The Century Club of San Diego has selected New Haven as one of only six San Diego nonprofit organizations to participate in their annual Champions for Youth Campaign. The campaign focuses on relevant non-profits that benefit San Diego youth and their families. Since 1967, New Haven has improved lives for 18,250 at-risk boys with innovative education in a healthy environment.
“This is the 4th year New Haven has been selected to reap the benefits of this exciting campaign,” said Doreen Quinn, New Haven’s CEO. “Our vision is aligned with those of The Century Club to restore hope to troubled youth and families in San Diego. Our collaboration will prove to be a success for all involved.”
The Century Club of San Diego is the charitable organization for Farmers Insurance. The program supports foster youth, homeless youth and low income military families in the San Diego community.
According to Diana Aaron, Vice President of Philanthropy for New Haven, “Our goal is to raise $135,000 to support our unique educational system fueled by career tech education in a nurturing environment.”
In addition to the base fundraising, New Haven is eligible for bonus funds from the Farmers Insurance pool of $285,000. The more participants at $10 each, the greater chance of receiving these additional funds. Donations can be made at https://charity.centuryclubsd.org/fundraiser/4253679
