Carlsbad, CA — (NVA), North County’s cultural hub, celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with three exciting events in October.

NEW VILLAGE REINAS Sunday, October 37:00 PM Tickets: $15Join NVA for the kickoff of our Hispanic Heritage Month programming, the New Village Reinas, a celebration of LatinX culture. Guaranteed to be an evening of high-energy fun, incredible performances, and endless laughter at the beautiful Flower Fields.

CELEBRANDO LA HERENCIA HISPANA Sunday, October 103:00–7:00 PM Tickets: FREE In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, New Village Arts invites the community for a free afternoon of programming at the Flower Fields. Start with a Sanjorome—a tour through South America led by Miguel Griot. Then, get ready to put on your salsa shoes with Flamenco Arana and dance the night away with a Bachata class presented by Vera Dancing. Pre-reservation is required.
PROGRAM:

  • 3:00 – 4:20 PM – Sanjorombe—A tour through South America
  • 4:30 – 5:15 PM – Flamenco Arana—Spain and Cuban Influences
  • 5:30 – 7:00 PM – Vera Dancing presents Bachata Class & Social

SABROSAS: AN EVENING OF DANCING & SALSA PERFORMED BY SAN DIEGO’S ALL-FEMALE SALSA BANDSunday, October 173:30–5:00 PMTickets: $20Salsa is never going out of style! Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close with an afternoon of salsa with San Diego’s all female, salsa band, Sabrosas!Details: www.newvillagearts.org

COVID Safety Protocols For these events, anyone who is not vaccinated against COVID-19 is required to wear a mask. If you are vaccinated, we highly recommend you wear your mask, but it is not required.  All NVA staff will be wearing masks at all times out of respect for our NVA Family.
