David Willauer —San Diego Padres 6 Pittsburgh Pirates 2 Vista alum Trevor Cahill started for the Pirates as he pitched 8 innings and recorded 8 strikeouts.  LaCosta Canyon alum Phil Evans had a double, single and a RBI. 

Del Norte 5 San Pasqual 3 San Pasqual RJ Talingo and Luke Hansen each had a double.

LaCosta Canyon 14 Poway 0 Cooper Dulich, Gabe Camacho and Mark Prince all doubled for LaCosta Canyon

Ramona 7 Mission Hills 5 Mission Hills held a 4-3 lead against the Bulldogs of Ramona scoring 2 in the fifth and the sixth as they defeated Mission Hills 7-5.  For Mission Hills Matthew Delvecchio doubled and teammate Quincy Scott tripled. Mission Hills is 5-5 

  Carlsbad Lancers 5 Vista 4 The Lancers improve their record to 6-4 on the season as they scored a run in the 2nd on a RBI double play by Noah Burton, a run scored by Trent Nielson in the in the 4th, 1 in the 6th on a Wild Pitch scored Owen Dargis and a run scored by Trent Nielson on Pete Knorr’s 2nd RBI as they defeated the Vista Panthers 5-4. 
Conrad Bohnert is the winner for the Lancers as he pitched 7 innings gave up 3 hits and struck out 7.

Jake Savicki, Carlsbad Head Baseball Coach:  “It was a good team win for us, we were good at hitting the ball at the plate and our squad went 2 for 4 at the plate, everyone on the team contributed tonight. We scored 1 run in different innings and our pitching was outstanding.” 

Pete Knorr has swung the bat for our team and when he bats in the 2nd, 4th or 7th inning he is clutch and gets the job done.’
“Conrad Bohnert pitched an outstanding game for us today and this was one of his best performances. Pitching as he did vs. Murrieta Valley in the last 2 games pitching for 6 innings. Which was good for him and has committed to San Diego State for baseball.” 
Shane Vass is the loser for the Panthers as he pitched 7 innings gave up 7 hits, 4 runs – 4 earne, 4 walks and 5 strikeouts.
Carlsbad Lancers will travel to Rancho Bernardo High School and they will take on the top ranked Broncos while Vista will be at Del Norte on April 14 and host LaCosta Canyon April 15th.
