David Willauer –8/7/2020 Detroit Tigers 17 Pittsburgh Pirates 13 11 innings Former Grossmont standout Steven Brault came in as a relief pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates as he pitched 0 innings gave up 3 hits 4 runs 4 earned 3 walks.  Former LaCosta Canyon Mavericks alum Phil Evans went 3 for 5 with a three run homer, 3 runs scored 2 singles 4 RBI’s.

Miami Marlins 4 New York Mets 3 2 former Palomar Comets made headlines as they came in relief.  For the Marlins James Hoyt pitched 0.2 innings gave up 1 hit 1 run and recorded 1 strikeout. Nick Vincent pitched 1.2 innings gave up 1 hit with 1 strikeout. 

8/8/2020 – Arizona Diamondbacks 3 San Diego Padres 2 Valhalla alum Greg Garcia 1 for 3 with a double for the Padres.

Baltimore Orioles 5 Washington Nationals 3 Carlsbad alum Tom Eshelman started for the Orioles as he pitched 4 innings gave up 5 hits 2 runs 2 earned 2 strikeouts. 

Detroit Tigers 11 Pittsburgh 5 LaCosta Canyon alum Phil Evans 0 for 2 with 1 walk and 1 run scored for the Pittsburgh Pirates

New York Mets 8 Miami Marlins 4-Palomar Comets alum James Hoyt came in relief for the Marlins as he pitched 0.2 innings with 1 strikeout.
