Willauer-Contributing Writer-May, 2021-Vista High School-Vista, CA:  The Falcons of Torrey Pines High School, ranked 2nd in the state of California, ranked 1st in the San Diego Section rankings under 27 year head coach, former Villanova and NBA standout John Olive have proved themselves tonight as they improve their record to 24-0 overall on the season as they defeated the Panthers of Vista by a 67-38 score. 
Jr Otto Landrum led the Falcons with 16 points and 14 boards for Torrey Pines, Nick Herrman contributed with 14 points Chris Howell 12 and Diego Campisano scored 8. Otto Landrum Torrey Pines Forward:  “It was a good game for our squad as we improved on offense and defense but we’ve kept the win streak rolling.” ” I rebounded well as I should have.” It was a good night for me as I scored 16 points as I’ve improved every game to work on my skills to get better..” Vista was led by Ivan Valadrez who came off the bench with 11 points as he shot 3 treys and a 2 pointer, Benji Hilstock 8 points Cyprian Hyde 6.

Classical Academy 4 Bishop 1 CA:  Binyam Gebhart 1 double 
The Firebirds of Pacific Ridge High School defeated Victory Christian Academy by a 28-1 score.  PR:  Ryan DeMartino 3 doubles, Joey Harris 2 doubles Colin Roselle 2 doubles Dominic Sciacca is the winning pitcher for PR as he pitched 3 innings and struck out 4 batters. 

In the first game of a doubleheader the Carlsbad Lancers defeated the LaCosta Canyon Mavericks by a 6-3 score.  LCC performers Brennan Davis, Jake Woltman, Gabe Camacho, Grant Hafercamp and Mark Prince 1 double each 
The Mavericks of LaCosta Canyon scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th as they defeated the Carlsbad Lancers by a 4-3 score.  LCC Jacob Woltman 1 double, Gabe Camacho 1 home run.  

The Grizzles of Mission Hills scored 3 runs in the 4th and 1 in the 5th as they defeated the Sun Devils of Mount Carmel by a 4-1 score.  Caden Rogers and Quincy Scott each doubled for the Grizzlies. 


Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs 7 Syracuse Mets 2 LCC alum Micky Moniak 1 single, 1 rbi 1 run scored for LV.

Greenville Drive 13 Asheville Tourists 12 Vista alum Korey Lee 1 double 2 singles 3 rbi’s 1 run scored

Stanford 8 Oregon 5 13 innings San Marcos alum Vinny Martinez 1 single.  
Fresno State 12 UNLV 2 Vista alum Ivan Luna came in as a pinch hitter for Fresno State as he delivered a double and 1 run scored.
