NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN hat the City Council of the Chartered City of Vista, California, will hold a public hearing in the Vista Civic Center located at 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, on August 9, 2022, at 5:30 PM, to receive and consider all evidence and reports presented at said hearing and/or obtained previously relative to the following matter:
P22-0115, Single-Room Occupancy Hotel at 330 Mar Vista Drive – Vista International, Inc.
The project applicant, Vista International, Inc., is requesting an amendment to the R-1 Zone to allow a single-room occupancy (SRO) hotel in the R-1 Zone with a special use permit (SUP), and a SUP to establish a SRO at 330 Mar Vista Drive (APN 183-041-45) within a former motel facility (Motel 6). The project would convert the existing 75 motel rooms to studio apartments for rent at market rate. This project is exempt from environmental review in accordance with CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 – Existing Facilities.
