NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Administrator of the City of Vista, California, will hold a public hearing in the Planning Division offices at the Vista Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, California, on Thursday, April 07, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. to receive and consider all evidence and reports presented at said hearing and/or obtained previously relative to the following matter:
P22-0017 – Dish Network Wireless Facility – Qualtek Wireless for Dish Network A request for a Minor Use Permit to collocate the installation of three (3) new telecommunication antennas to an existing wireless telecommunication facility located on the façade of a two-story commercial building located at 1010 S. Santa Fe Avenue. This project is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act, in accordance with Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines, because a Class 1 exemption consists of minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, or mechanical equipment involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination.

P22-0079 – Dish Network Wireless Facility – J5 for Dish Network A request for a Minor Use Permit to install three (3) new antennas on an existing stealth mono-eucalyptus tower at an existing telecommunications facility located at 2611 Commerce Way. This project is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act, in accordance with Section 15303 of the CEQA Guidelines, because a Class 3 exemption consists of construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities, or structures that would result in an insignificant expansion of the existing use.

Santa Fe Avenue. This project is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act, in accordance with Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines, because a Class 1 exemption consists of minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, or mechanical equipment involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination.
