NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the Chartered City of Vista, California, will hold a public meeting in the Vista Civic Center Council Chambers, 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, on December 15, 2015, at 6:00 PM, for early design review of the following project application:

PC14-313, Breeze Hill Apartments

The project applicant, Silvergate Development, LLC, appeared in front of the Planning Commission on September 1, 2015, to review an application for a Site Development Plan to develop apartments on 3.2 acres located at 631 S. Melrose Drive. The applicant has revised their plans in response to comments received at the September 1 meeting and is requesting another design review of the application by the Planning Commission.

The revised project proposes 91 apartment units in seven 3-story apartment buildings, one 1-story community building, parking, internal driveways, and associated site amenities on the project site. The project proposes to demolish an existing 21,000-square foot commercial retail building that currently occupies the site.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the Planning Commission an opportunity to discuss the proposed design of the project and provide direction to the applicant. The public will be provided an opportunity to address the Planning Commission at this meeting; however, no decision on the project will be made. A final decision on the project will be made at a future duly noticed public hearing.
