Oceanside Theatre Company regrets to inform audiences that, due to recent world events, we have chosen to cancel our upcoming production of The Ultimate Christmas Show (Abridged.) The experience of our patrons, cast, and crew is our top priority, and we believe that in light of the current dynamics in the Middle East, the timing is not right for this production. In lieu of the canceled production, we hope audiences will join us for our upcoming December productions of La Pastorela on December 2 & 3, Seasons: A New Musical Song Cycle by Tyler Tafolla on December 8-10 and Blitzen’s Ball, A Holiday Variety Show on December 15-24.
December 2 at 7 pm, December 3 at 2 pm Tickets $20
Tierra Caliente Academy of Arts presents a Spanish-language performance of La Pastorela or The Shepherds’ Play. Originating in medieval Europe as religious dramas and later brought to the New World and Alta California by the Spanish missionaries, La Pastorela recreates the long trek of those first shepherds to the holy site of the nativity. Directed by Soledad Escobedo, this family event is filled with humor and music.
