For months now, we have been discussing The Pact Act!
Now, everyone needs to understand that time is of the essence!
We have deadlines coming up. It does not mean that the Pact Act ends but rather some dates that everyone needs to understand.
August 9, 2023 at midnight, there is a special consideration which briefly adjusted the timing of your claim. If you fill an INTENT TO FILE A CLAIM, your file will be backdated to August 10, 2022! Yes, basically a full year of backdated compensation will be applied to your intent to file. Prior to the Pact Act, your file date was your start date of your claim. That was briefly adapted for almost a full year of back compensation. A rare adjustment.
ALTHOUGH, the Pact Act continues with presumptive health issues, the extra time adjustment ends.
THE PACT ACT WILL CONTINUE!
DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 30,2023
Post 9/11 Veterans need to enroll in the VA Healthcare under the special window opened by the PACT ACT, with certain presumptive health issues. ALL combat veterans have 10 years, from the time you leave the service, to engage into the VA Healthcare System.
So PLEASE File Your Intent and/or join into the VA Healthcare system!
