David A. Willauer-Palomar College-San Marcos, CA-1-17-20-The Lady Comets of Palomar ran into a buzz saw shooting team in the Lady Spartans of Mira Costa College as they came into Palomar’s Dome and ended the Lady Comets 11 game winning behind the outstanding performance of Emmy Wiemann who made 4 baskets in a row in the first half led Mira Costa (12-5) with 12 points. Julie Iman contributed with 11 points, San Marcos alum Madison Rowe and McKena Stoeff from El Camino each contributed with 10 points.
For the Lady Comets of Palomar at 17-2, former Mission Hills alum Nikki Mayoral led with 13 points.
