NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the Chartered City of Vista, California, will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at the Vista Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, California, on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. to receive and consider all evidence and reports presented at said hearing and/or obtained previously relative to the following matter:
P22-0718, Legislative Housing Amendments – City of Vista (No notice attached)
The City of Vista is proposing to amend Vista Development Code Chapter 18.31, Accessory Dwelling Units, and Chapter 18.90, Residential Density Bonus Ordinance, to reflect recent legislative changes approved by the State of California, add new Chapter 17.86, Urban Lot Splits, Chapter 18.71, Zoning Clearances, and Chapter 18.96, Two-Unit Residential Developments, to reflect changes in State law approved under Senate Bill 9, and adopt new Objective Design Standards for specified multi-family and mixed-use development projects in compliance with Senate Bill 330. The Planning Commission’s review of these proposed amendments, additions, and standards is advisory to the City Council.
NOTE: If you challenge this project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Vista at, or prior to, the public hearing.
