City of Vista Zoning Administrator for March 7, 2024, at 2:30 pm

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Administrator of the City of Vista, California, will hold a public hearing in the Planning Division offices at the Vista Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, California, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 2:30 p.mto receive and consider all evidence and reports presented at said hearing and/or obtained previously relative to the following matter:

P23-0P23-0393 – Intellichildren Preschool and Daycare – J. Villa & Company

A request for a Minor Use Permit to establish and operate a commercial daycare facility at 1025 Service Place. The project would involve tenant improvements to accommodate the daycare operations and outdoor play area. This project is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act in accordance with Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines because it is a modification to an existing commercial facility that would result in an insignificant expansion of the existing structure.

P23-0361 – Minor Use Permit for a Temporary Structure – Robert Simon

The applicant, Robert Simon, is requesting a Minor Use Permit to allow for a temporary structure to remain onsite during construction. The subject site is located immediately north of the terminus of Earth Drive, west of Bluegrass Road (APN 162-221-61). This project is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15303 – New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures.

NOTE: If you challenge this project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Vista at, or prior to, the public hearing. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES ARE INVITED to participate and express opinions on the matter outlined above. QUESTIONS regarding this project should be directed to the Planning Division, City Hall, 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or by telephoning (760) 639-6100. If you wish to send correspondence, the mailing address is: City of Vista, Planning Division, 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, CA 92084.
