Red Ribbon Cutting For Grand Opening Of Jackson’s Sports Bar & Grill

TR Robertson – The newest restaurant and bar in Vista is now open for business following the Red Ribbon Cutting on Thursday for the Grand Opening of Jackson’s Sport’s Bar and Grill. The Chamber of Commerce Red Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Jackson’s was held at Noon on Thursday, September 21st. Members of the Chamber, Vista government officials and other dignitaries were on hand to welcome owner Jack Nielsen to the Vista business community. Vista Chamber of Commerce CEO Rachel Beld welcomed Jack to Vista and he was also presented with a welcome proclamation from California State Representative Laurie Davies Office.  The sports themed bar and grill features numerous sports banners, flags and other items and people eating at the restaurant are encouraged to bring something from their favorite sports team to feature in the bar and grill. The Sport’s Bar and Grill is in the former location of the Partake Gastropub.

The extensive menu has a number of burgers, sandwiches, salad, soup, sides, desserts, a kid’s menu, and appetizers offering plenty to pick from for lunch or dinner. Restaurant owner Jack said his favorite item on the menu is the Chicken Fried Steak dinner and his wife said she loved the Chicken Fried Chicken dinner. The new menu will also offer nightly specials that include Flatbread pizzas on Monday, Sliders on Tuesday, Wings on Wednesday, Chili Dor Fries on Thursday and Brisket Dinner on Friday. There are eight T.V.’s in the bar and grill that will always have on a variety of sports to view.

The bar offers twelve Draft beers on tap from breweries like Karl Strauss, Booze Brothers, 805, Alesmith, West Brew, Elysian, Latitude 33, Golden Rose, Estrella Jalisco and Ballast Point. There are also several bottled and canned beers and seltzers as well as wine to choose from.

Jackson’s Sports Bar and Grill will be open seven days a week opening at 11pm Monday through Fridays. Jackson’s will close at 9 am on Monday and Tuesdays, and close at 10 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday. The bar and grill will open at 10 am on Saturdays and Sundays. They will also offer Google online ordering to go. They are located at 721 S. Santa Fe in Vista. For more information call 760-295-1656.
