Veterans for Rocky to be led by Medal of Honor recipient Col. Jay Vargas (Ret.)
San Diego — U.S. Senate candidate and Republican front-runner, Col. Rocky Chavez (Ret.) will be hosting a press conference Friday to announce the Veterans for Rocky coalition which is being headed by Medal of Honor recipient Col. Jay Vargas (Ret.), who is one of only 77 living Medal of Honor recipients.

Why: The race for California’s open U.S. Senate seat has become quite heated in the past few months, and the Veterans for Rocky coalition will help earn the votes of the state’s over two million veterans for the Republican front-runner Rocky Chavez.
