San Diego, CA – August, 2023). San Diego Musical Theatre announces the third production of their 2023 season, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, September 29 – October 29, 2023 (press opening on Saturday, September 30) at the SDMT Stage in Kearny Mesa.
In the kooky, upside-down world of the Addams Family, to be sad is to be happy, to feel pain is to feel joy, and death and suffering are the stuff of their dreams. In one fateful, hilarious night, secrets are disclosed, relationships are tested, and the family must face up to the one horrible thing they have managed to avoid for generations: change. With the budding romance between Wednesday Addams and Lucas Beineke, a sweet, smart boy from a normal, respectable Ohio family — the most un-Addams sounding person one could be — both families are brought together in a fun, crazy, and absolutely heartfelt evening.
