As the voice of business in San Marcos, the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host a candidate forum for the 2022 Election for San Marcos Mayor and the San Marcos City Council. This forum will allow Chamber members, business organizations, and community members the opportunity to engage and hear from candidates in a moderated conversation regarding issues important to the San Marcos business community.

The 30th annual San Marcos Harvest Fest returns on Sunday, October 9th, from 9am-5pm. This lively community event will feature over 200 local businesses along with area artisans and crafters offering up great shopping! Guests will also enjoy a Wine, Rhythm & Brews Garden, delicious food, kids zone, and live entertainment on two stages.

WEDNESDAY, OCT 12 5:00 PM-6:30 PM The San Marcos Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Virtual Candidate Forum for San Marcos Unified School Board Candidates on Wednesday, October 12th, 5:00-6:30 PM. This free event provides a forum that gives voters the opportunity to meet each of the attending candidates running for School Board, and learn about their positions on various school-related topics. Voters in San Marcos Unified School District will vote for one trustee for each of the two areas. Area C – Stephanie Carroll, Andres Ramos Martin Area E – Stacy Carlson, Sharyl Cavellier Questions for the candidates must be sent in advance to Rick@sanmarcoschamber.com and received by October 3rd. Questions that will be asked during the candidate forum will be selected by the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Admission is free and all are welcome. |

During the month of October, we encourage you to support the Scare Away Peanut Butter Drive by donating unopened jars of peanut butter to help feed local children living in poverty.
You can drop off donations at participating locations or online. Donations benefit the North County Food Bank. More Info
