Cantaloupes are also making their debut with a few available followed by a table full the following week. Rich went a bit overboard with cantaloupes…rumor has it there are 8 different varieties to choose from.
We know that you have all been waiting for the watermelons. They will be here in just a few short weeks. Rich and the boys have planted 12 different types of watermelons including red, orange, yellow and white flesh ranging from petite individual watermelons to 40+ lb watermelons for sharing coming your way! They wanted to plant a variety that gets up to 200 lbs – but I didn’t know how we would get them into cars – lol.
Of course, there are many, many other items being harvested this week!
