Camp Pendleton’s noteworthy efforts in waste reduction, litter prevention, and community engagement serves as a model for U.S. military bases throughout the nation and around the world.”
Keep California Beautiful (KCB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to alternative waste management, beautification, community networking, and outreach. Since 1991, KCB and its partner programs sponsored more than 14,372 events, involving more than 855,958 volunteers, and collected more than 26,238,000 pounds of litter and trash from California’s highways, public lands, waterways, and beaches.
