Senator Jones Releases Video How Californians Can Help Immediately Lower Gas Prices By $1

Sacramento. CA –Senator Brian W. Jones (R-Santee) today released a video of him advising Californians how to get the $1 per gallon gas tax suspended, immediately.

In his video, Jones notes that gasoline prices have recently spiked over $7 per gallon in some places in California and that the Legislature has authority to immediately suspend the gas tax.

Jones has been fighting for months to suspend all or part of the $1 per gallon gas tax that California imposes on motorists.

Senator Brian W. Jones was elected to the California State Senate in 2018 representing the 38th Senate District which includes Alpine, Escondido, Lemon Grove, El Cajon, La Mesa, Santee, Poway, San Marcos, Lakeside, Valley Center, Rancho Santa Fe, Julian, Ramona, Rancho San Diego, Bonsall, Fallbrook, Borrego Springs, and parts of the City of San Diego.
