I recommend any books by the late Clive Cussler, his newest book is Journey of the Pharaohs, or James Rollins, his latest book The Last Odyssey, or Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, their latest book Crooked River, or Raymond Khoury, his latest book The Ottoman Secret.

They are a fun read.
