Anti-Human Trafficking COLLABORATIVE MEETING January 6
Our next Collaborative meeting is Thursday, January 6th, 9 a.m. at United Methodist Church, 490 S. Melrose,
Vista in the Fellowship Hall downstairs.

We are privileged to have Susan Johnson (left) and Marjorie Saylor (right) as our guest speakers. Susan is the founder and director of Grace House. They have just purchased and filled a beautiful home in North County. Marjorie is the Client Services Director, Advocate and Survivor Leader. Masks are required.

16TH ANNUAL HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS WALK AND EVENT

January 29 * Raise awareness about Human Trafficking and learn what’s being done to help rescue victims and to save our children from becoming victims. Information tables and STOP TRAFFICKING signs will be provided. $10 donation requested but not required.

10 am: Registration, Info Tables and Sign Pickup
10:30 am: Guest Speaker Summer Stephan in Fellowship Hall room at the church
11 am: One and one-half mile walk roundtrip from Church, south on Melrose Drive to Sunset Drive and back to church
Reminder: masks will be required at indoor portion.

About our Speaker: San Diego DA Summer Stephan (right) will talk about the new North County Resource Center, “One Safe Place,” which opens February 2nd in Escondido.

Summer Stephan has always had a heart for victims of human trafficking and has developed successful strategies to help them on their paths to survival. I can think of no one better to encourage our community to continue to support this important issue.
