In our most recent newsletter, we mistakenly wrote, “What is significant is that 99% of those who have tested positive are those who have not been vaccinated.” That is not accurate. The correct statistic is that more than 99% of those dying have not been vaccinated. We apologize for the incorrect information.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

On Tuesday August 3rd, the Sheriff’s Department will hold our annual National Night Out event. Vista Sheriff’s station will be doing it at the City Hall Parking Lot (200 Civic Center) from 4‐6pm . For those who are not familiar with the event, National Night Out is an annual community‐building campaign that promotes Law Enforcement – Neighborhood partnerships.

This year, we’ll have CHP, C.O.P.P.S unit, K‐9 unit, Fire Department, Dispatch recruiting, Tri‐City Hospital, Vista Community Clinic and 7‐11 participating with us. Meet our local deputies, receive resources and giveaways.
