Breaking Ground on Permanent Supportive Housing

This week the Vista City Council broke ground on the first-ever Permanent Supportive Housing project! “Sante Fe Senior Village” is being developed by National CORE and Hope Through Housing, with support and funding from the City of Vista and the County of San Diego. This community will offer 62 affordable homes for homeless seniors. Permanent Supportive Housing meets the needs of people experiencing homelessness because it resolves a person’s homelessness by providing much-needed housing and it provides ongoing services such as case management, classes, and more. The City of Vista will pursue more Permanent Supportive Housing projects.
Don’t Miss an Important Budget Discussion!
Please join the Vista City Council on May 23rd at 5:30 pm and participate in a discussion about our City budget. The City of Vista currently has a two-year budget, and we will be reviewing our budget for the upcoming fiscal years of 2023/2024 and 2024/2025. The operating budget for the fiscal year 2023/24 is $187,441,124, and for 2024/25, the operating budget is $191,264,079.
