Structure Fire – Vista

On September 1 at 10:22 pm Vista Fire Department personnel were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 631 S. Santa Fe Avenue in Vista.  The first unit arrived on scene at 10:27 pm and found heavy smoke and fire coming from a 1600 square foot office building.  There was fire coming out of two windows on the front of the office and fire was affecting the office next door to the north.  A second alarm was called for additional resources.  Personnel from San Marcos, Oceanside, and Carlsbad assisted.  The fire was contained at 10:47 pm.

San Diego Sheriff Bomb Arson personnel along with Vista Fire Department investigators stated the cause of the fire is currently undetermined and the dollar amount lost was a total of $100,000.

There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.  Personnel remained on scene until the 4 am on September 2 and the property was then turned over to the owners.
