Vista, CA –Two Vista art organizations are seeking entries for a student art show that will be held at this year’s Alley Art Festival on June 11 from 11 to 4 pm at Green Oak Ranch, 1237 Green Oak Road in Vista. The Backfence Society and the Vista Art Foundation are sponsoring the student show that will be awarding cash prizes of $300, $150 and $50. Art categories include paintings, photography, mixed media or three dimensional, such as sculptures.

The collaborative art organizations are emphasizing community involvement in the arts in Vista and hope to inspire young artists by providing a means to display their creativity. Recently, high school student art, featuring hand-crafted masks, were shown at a fundraiser in downtown Vista.

For entry forms and more information about the show in June and the associated festival, see https://www.artinvista.org/alley-art-festival-2022.
