Jonathan Lister – On April, 2023, Escondido Adventist Academy was very blessed to have some kittens come to our campus! Today, Tomorrow, Forever Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization that works to make sure that rescued kittens get taken care of and brought into a loving, congenial home. The kittens have their own unique personalities that brought a heartwarming feeling for me.

Playing with the kittens and being able to spend time with them reminded me of the time I had a kitten of my own when I was a small child growing up. Even though I no longer have any kittens, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia whenever I see them.
While I was taking pictures of the kittens, it was difficult to get the perfect picture of them. They were so jittery and shy when the camera was on their cute faces. When I finally was able to get the right angle, the kittens would run away from me, those sneaky little things! I finally was able to get some really nice pictures of them and I was very content with the way things turned out. I will say that without the help of the rest of the Yearbook Staff, I would not be able to get those pictures taken. It was all worth it in the end because I got to enjoy the kittens as well as take some amazing pictures for the Today, Tomorrow, Forever Animal Rescue program.
When I think of poor kittens outside without a home, knowing that Today, Tomorrow, Forever Animal Rescue is always there to help those kittens find homes gives me hope. I love what is being done to make sure malnourished kittens receive food, water, and warm blankets that are meant just for them! I encourage people to donate for this cause because what they are doing is not free. Today, Tomorrow, Forever Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization which means they don’t ask for a lot but helping them in a small way could help them tremendously! Please donate to them today, it would really mean a lot to the kittens who are being rescued daily.

Who? Today, Tomorrow, and Forever animal rescue.
What? Kittens entered the class and they weren’t even the size of my hand, kitten adoption photo shoot
When? On April 19, 2023
Where? 1301 Deodar Road
Why? They are trying to promote their new rescue and need funding

Today, Tomorrow, and Forever animal rescue came to Escondido Adventist Academy, 1301 Deodar Rd, on April 19, 2023. It was really surprising seeing the room all set up, because a lot of us forgot about the kittens coming. Two kind ladies brought the kittens into the room for us and told us that we are going to be taking adoption photos. We will also be trying to prompt their new rescues and that they are trying to get funding to help out more kittens. When I saw the kittens they barely fit on one hand, the kittens were nervous and a little skittish. The kittens settled down after a while, some of the kittens looked like they were even posing for us. The kittens are fostered and they are not put into shelters.
Today, Tomorrow, and Forever is a nonprofit rescue organization that changed their name, the old name was SPOT. They want the animals to get adopted and all items that are donated are all going to the kittens. 90% of the kittens that come into the place have medical issues and any money that they are donated will be going to get them the help that they need. Today, Tomorrow, and Forever are people with large, kind and caring hearts. They will continue to help all the kittens.
They could use some support and there are many ways to support them. Some ways you can help out could be by donating old towels, sheets, and blankets. Helping could also be by helping them raise money to get a kitten shower, food, and any other things that the kittens may need. These kittens also need homes and a place to live, so adopting a kitten would even help them out. For more information you can check them out on Instagram @Ttf_animalrescue.

Who: Today, Tomorrow, Forever Animal Rescue (TTFAR)
What: Kitten Adoption Photography
When: April 19, 2023
Where: 1301 Deodar Rd, Escondido, CA, 92026
Why: They wanted exposure to get the kittens adopted and funding for their organization

The class period was a wonderful experience. When entering the classroom, I was welcomed by the meowing of kittens in their cages. Two ladies from the company Today, Tomorrow, Forever Animal Rescue (TTFAR) requested that our class take photo shots to help promote them. After receiving our instructions, the class paired up and started taking photos of the kittens.
You had to be careful when interacting with the kittens. Some we weren’t even able to touch for the risk of making them sick. Most of these kittens were no more than a pound, and the oldest kittens were about a year old. Some kittens were easily distracted while others were basically posing for us. They were quite fun to play with. We had them in baskets, on pillows, and by themselves. It was quite enjoyable to take photos of these kittens.
TTFAR is a nonprofit organization that rescues kittens and cares for them until they can find a home for them. Their goal is to lower the number of kittens that are abandoned and at risk in shelters. You can help by donating through their website, and sending old blankets, sheets, pillows, etc. to them. TTFAR uses all the donations they receive to care for the kittens.
