The VAPA Foundation, in Partnership with City College Art and Art Produce Hold Art Auction to Benefit the Larry T. Baza Scholarship Fund
San Diego, CA — The VAPA Foundation, in partnership with City College Art and Art Produce are holding an art auction to benefit the Larry T. Baza Scholarship Fund on Saturday, October 29th 5 -7:30 pm, at the Athenaeum Art Center within Bread & Salt, located at 1955 Julian Ave. in San Diego. Bidders will have the opportunity to bid on a wide variety of mixed media art pieces. A $10 donation per person at the door is
suggested.
Online bidding begins October 22 at noon and ends October 29 at 7 p.m. Artworks and contributing artists can be viewed at https://vapa.betterworld.org/auctions/art-auction-support-vapas-larry.
A co-founder of VAPA, Larry believed that his introduction to theater and visual arts while attending San Diego High School inspired him, leading him to be a lifelong advocate for the arts.
The VAPA Foundation provides scholarship assistance to graduating seniors from the San Diego Unified School District through the Larry T. Baza Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are awarded to students in support of their commitment to artistic excellence and community engagement, and to help fund their post-secondary goals in the arts.
