Tuesday Night Comics is arguably the funniest night of comedy in San Diego. MCL taps into his extensive list of talented comedian friends and shares the North Coast Rep stage with them. The show is comprised of talent from all over the country with late-night television credits as well as credits from Comedy Central, HBO, SHOWTIME, ETC… BUY TICKETS!

Headliner: Joel Bryant

Joel Bryant is a Los Angeles–based comedian who began performing at 17 in Albuquerque and rose through top clubs like The Comedy Store, The Improv, and Laugh Factory. A global headliner, he’s performed in over 40 countries—and even Antarctica. Known for crowd work and improv-trained spontaneity, Joel blends sharp storytelling with audience interaction. He’s shared stages with Bill Burr, Nate Bargatze, and Iliza Schlesinger, and opened for legends like Stevie Wonder and John Legend. A seasoned actor and NFL Super Bowl emcee, Joel entertains worldwide across clubs, corporate events, and cruise ships.

Josh Nelson is a San Diego comedian with a fast-growing fanbase for his honest, self-aware takes on relationships, aging, and the chaos of modern life. He’s performed at The Comedy Store and clubs throughout Southern California. Josh blends smart observations with crowd friendly storytelling, delivering a set that’s personal without being preachy and sharp without trying too hard. Expect laughs you weren’t ready for and stories that feel uncomfortably familiar.

Opener: Ben Mastracco

Ben Mastracco is a Southern California based comedian blending sharp observations with stories about food, relationships, and the everyday ups and downs of trying to be a functioning adult.

Musical Act: Margaret Star

Margaret Star is an opera, musical theater, and CCM singer and voice coach with a passion for comedy and musical parody. She has performed in various opera productions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Italy. She founded and led the a cappella group, Space Cats, and later co-led the San Francisco-based a cappella group, Vocal Edition, which won Best Original Song and Audience Favorite at the Bay Area Harmony Sweeps Festival in 2019. In addition to singing, Margaret has also fused her passion for voice with other performance styles such as burlesque and currently stand-up comedy.
