Vista, CA –Message From Antonio Mora, President, VCC Board of Directors–Greetings Supporters and Followers,
I am honored to be writing to you as President of the Vista Community Clinic (VCC) Board of Directors for the first time. I have been on VCC’s board since 2009 and have seen VCC overcome challenging and uncertain times. Community service is one of my passions and during my time on the board I have gained a new perspective on the importance of community healthcare. I have learned about VCC’s approach when redefining what it means to be a community clinic. VCC empowers communities that have been disproportionally impacted by social determinants of health. We provide healthcare in communities where there are few or no options for care or where systemic barriers to care have been created. It’s no secret that there’s a lot of hard work going on at VCC.
As an educator who is active in my own community, I take this new role as a tremendous opportunity to make an impactful difference for community members of all ages and demographics. Together we can ensure that men, women, and children have access to affordable and quality healthcare.
So much work goes into ensuring a comprehensive array of services are available to all community members. You have the power to make an impactful contribution by clicking on the Donate Now button below, or by contacting Betsy Heightman by phone at 760-631-5000 ext. 1139 or by email at email@example.com.
Thank you for your time and consideration today. I look forward to many more communications and keeping each of you up to date with the latest happenings at VCC. Together we can increase the positive health outcomes in our communities.

“I had my baby three months ago and I am very happy with my experience at Vista Community Clinic and at my delivery at Palomar Hospital. I had a great birth experience at Palomar because the staff was attentive and caring. The rooms and after-care were outstanding, as well. I am continuing my postnatal at VCC because they have always provided me with excellent care now and with my two previous pregnancies.”
