Vista Bucks are Back!

The city will be launching a $135,000 shop local incentive program in mid-August that will utilize the city’s Vista Bucks Program. Vista Bucks is an electronic debit card program that can be used by most point-of-sale terminals found in local businesses. Business owners receive payments just like other debit and credit card payments. There is no cost for businesses to participate. However, businesses must sign up for the program in advance in order to accept payments in the form of Vista Bucks. Only businesses located and licensed in the City of Vista are eligible to participate.Sign up now to be able to earn a share of the $135,000 shop local incentive program when it is launched. CA Small Business Leadership Academy

Cox has partnered with the Council for Supplier Diversity and in collaboration with the University of San Diego’s School of Business to offer a virtual series of workshops designed specifically for minority, woman, veteran, LGBT, and/or disability – owned businesses. Cox is proud to partner with diverse-owned suppliers and the Council for Supplier Diversity to empower small businesses to thrive and grow in the communities we serve.
Each virtual workshop is facilitated by a University of San Diego faculty member who excels in teaching, is an active consultant, and pursues the latest research. In these highly interactive workshops, your business will learn from leading thinkers in business leadership, organizational strategy, and other key areas of business management. Lifeline Back to School Drive –

For some families the new school year brings anxiety and stress over the looming costs associated with sending a child back to school. For many students from low-income families, having the necessary supplies at the beginning of the school year helps to remove barriers to learning. We are committed to helping the youth in all of our community-based programs start the year off right. Learn how you can help here.
