Fall 2023 Senior Experience Program Sponsor Opportunity
Vista Chamber Members can take advantage of a 30% discount from the Senior Experience Program at CSUSM. This discount would bring the price from $1500 to $1000 for 750 hours of student research and coursework on behalf of the qualifying sponsors. We have a few opportunities; the first 20 that get selected by faculty and students during the second week of September. Sponsor applications must be submitted by August 10th. California Competes Tax Credit – Application Period Open
The California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate in California or stay and grow in California. Businesses of any industry, size, or location compete for over $180 million available in tax credits by applying in one of the three application periods each year. Applicants will be analyzed based on fourteen different factors of evaluation, including number of full-time jobs being created, amount of investment, and strategic importance to the state or region. 2023 Congressional App Challenge
The Congressional App Challenge is the official computer science competition of the House of Representatives and has grown to become the most prestigious prize in computer science. The challenge is open to students of all coding levels and is an incredible opportunity for middle and high school students to express their creativity, explore new academic fields in STEM, and gain valuable hands-on experience.
