Free Home Vacation Check The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department offers free home vacation checks year-round.
Let us know when you are leaving and the Sheriff’s Department Senior Volunteer Patrol will keep a watchful eye on your home while you are away.

Pilot Shallow Rental Subsidy Program

This program is designed to improve housing stability for low-income older adults who, without financial assistance, may be at risk of losing their housing. SRSP will serve approximately 220 households by providing a $500 monthly subsidy over a period of 18 months. Participants will also receive light case management services from Dept of Homeless Solutions and Equitable Communities. Learn more about this program here.
