Vista, CA –Wow, September. Is anyone else experiencing a time warp where it feels like March, September, and December all at the same time? There’s an old adage about parenthood, “The days are long but the years are short,” which I believe adequately describes the whole of 2020. But, despite the 2020 time bend, things at the Chamber are moving along. COVID-19 has provided an opportunity to evaluate our programs and operations and to put forth a strategic vision to even more fully develop as a catalyst, convener, and champion for our members and our community.
We have partnered with Oceanside and Carlsbad Chambers of Commerce on a digital advocacy platform which will allow us to better connect our members to elected officials and communicate action items quickly and easily.
Read more about it below. And, watch for an action item related to the Save Small Business coalition later this week. In October, the Chamber will host several candidate forums – most details on these to come soon!
Later this month the Vista Chamber will relocate our office from 127 Main Street to our new location at The Film Hub, 170 Eucalyptus – Suite 115. More than just a lease, we are excited to embark on a true partnership with The Film Hub and connect with the creative and innovate minds who utilize space there. To facilitate the move, our office will be closed and phones will not operate on Friday, September 18. You can find us in our new location on Monday, September 21. We still ask that you give us a call or email to make an appointment to come by. Once we can all be together in a more regular way, we will host a mixer and celebrate our new collaboration with The Film Hub. We can’t wait for you all to see the beautiful space!

“Business owners put fears aside every day to do what they love. The grind is hard but the Vista Chamber is here to help in our community. We hope our facility can help them grow to the next level. As The Film Hub continues to develop a new industry in Vista, it will be great to have their help to connect content media professionals.”
