City Council to Meet March 26 — The City Council will meet on Tuesday, March 26, at 5:30 pm. The meeting will occur in the Council Chambers at the Vista Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Drive. The meeting is open to the public, and participation in person or virtually is welcome. Please refer to the agenda link below for information on how to offer your input on agenda items or to speak on any topic that’s not on the agenda.

Consent Calendar Items Include (recommendations on Consent Calendar items are enacted in one motion unless an item is removed from the Calendar):⁠

1). Appointments to Various City Commissions, Boards, and Committees.

2). AVO Theater Advisory Stakeholder Committee.

1). 2024-2025 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan.

2). Code Amendment to Allow 3 Bedroom Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).

Volunteer Opportunities at the McClellan Senior Center….Share your talents with others around you. The McClellan Senior Center seeks volunteers interested in sharing their talents and leading various clubs or groups. If you have an idea for a social club, we welcome you to bring it to us. We are specifically looking for lead volunteers who can helm clubs like:

Easter Egg Hunt on March 30 … The Pride of Vista Lions Club hosts its annual Easter Egg Hunt featuring a Easter bonnet contest, free vision screening, bike raffle, opportunity drawings, and more. Egg hunt for children ages 2 to 10.

This Week’s Events at the Vista Library …. The Vista Library, 700 Eucalyptus Avenue, is hosting a wide variety of events and services the entire community can take advantage of, from Baby Storytime, Citizenship Class, After School Crafts, Tax Preparation, Yoga, and more.
