Growing Caudiciform ‘Fat Plants’ will be the topic of a presentation at 1:45 p.m. October 6, 2023 at the Jim Porter Rec Center, Brengle Terrace Park, 1200 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista CA. The Speaker is Al Klein, owner of Botanic Wonders Nursery who specializes in cycads, rare succulents and other exotic plants. These plants, are some of the most unusual plants on the planet and are characterized by a part of the plant that is swollen and stores water.
