Vista, CA —Vista High School is having its College & Career Futures Fair on March 3rd, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on campus.

This is a great opportunity to get in front of all of our 2,200 students. The event will be held in the Main Quad and is open to any student, plus specific classes will be taking their students around as well.

This is our largest event of the year. You can book your table in under a minute (for free):

Who should participate:

Colleges and other institutions of learning are encouraged to attend as most students will be looking for a pathway to a career and that almost always includes additional education and training.

Career speakers who can answer a student’s questions about their occupation should attend. Speakers should be able to not only talk about their own job but as well about their industry, field, and organization.

Employers who hire High School students are encouraged to apply. All 2,200 students will be present at this event. Students are looking for future opportunities and careers at companies and organizations just like yours.

Businesses that would like to offer internships or job shadow experiences are encouraged to promote their programs.

Organizations that would like to recruit volunteers and community service experiences.

We want the destination to their career search and the pathways to get there from high school in one event.

What you are reserving:

Your reservation includes a 6-foot conference table and 2-chairs You’re encouraged to bring hand-outs, table displays, and signage to promote your institution. As well, please bring a separate supply for our College & Career Center and Counseling offices.

Do I need a reservation for each member of my group?

You only need to register one person in the group, however, there is a spot on the form for adding more. We will be contacting you to get the names of those attending with you prior to the event. You are reserving a table with your registration.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There will be free parking available to participants in our campus lots. There will be room up front in the parking lot to unload materials or equipment.

What can I bring to the event?

You are encouraged to bring hand-outs, flyers, and other materials. You should be bringing table covers or backdrops that identify your organization to the students at a glance. You can bring your own booth, however, please coordinate with us on a larger setup beyond a single table. If you want to bring a larger setup such as a 10×10 tent or a van/coach, please contact us so we can make the proper preparations.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can email Stephen Soderback at stephensoderback@vistausd.org or call (760) 726-5611 x71055

What happens if it rains that day?

The event is our main quad and there is plenty of room under the building overhangs in case we get bad weather. If we do get rain we may move the event to the Gym.
