Vista, CA-The Vista Historical Society and Museum is a nonprofit California corporation which is concerned with the discovery, recording, collecting and preservation of historical facts, properties, and other materials regarding the history of the Southwestern United States.
In particular, recording the settlement and development of this region in San Diego County, and also preserving and perpetuating for public benefits those artifacts, historical objects and documents including the city of Vista, for all to see.
For some time now we have been closed due to the pandemic and our fundraising events, a major source of income, have been cancelled or postponed while our costs continue.
A recent study by the American Alliance of Museums warns that 1/3 of museums will close in the United States because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We don’t want the Vista Historical Museum to be one.
We are considering many fundraising options and hope that you can help, but you can also help by inviting fellow businesses, family members, and friends to join you supporting the museum.
Your help of a donation big or small is tax deductible and would be a greatly appreciated. We need your support now more than ever. Please consider a tax-deductible donation to the Vista Historical Society. Donate today to help this historic landmark continue.
