Notice is hereby given by the Board of Trustees of the Vista Unified School District that the applications for the District’s Citizen Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) for Measure LL are open.

On November 6, 2018, voters within the Vista Unified School District approved Measure LL by 64.21%.  The Board of Trustees officially certified the election results at the December 13, 2018 Board Meeting.  The Board of Trustees approved the process to solicit applications for citizen representatives to sit on the CBOC.

The CBOC will provide oversight on the implementation of Measure LL.  Each member will serve a two (2) year term without compensation. The first year several members will serve one (1) year to create a staggered term.  Each member of the committee may be appoint by the Board for no more than three (3) consecutive terms.

All citizens submitting applications must be comprised of individuals who either live or work within the boundaries of the District.  No employee of the Vista Unified School District may serve as a representative of the CBOC.

Applications will be available online at http://www.vistausd.org/MeasureLL, and are due no later than JANUARY 31, 2019 @ 4:00 PM in the Business Services Office of the Vista Unified School District.
