Star Theatre presents “Air Turbulence”Aug. 20-22, The Star Theatre The Historic Star Theatre will reopen next weekend with the world premier of Air Turbulence. This comedy packed full of pop culture references is a bumpy, hilarious ride in some very turbulent skies. World Bodysurfing Championships Aug. 21-22, Oceanside Pier All are invited to attend this annual competition next weekend to cheer on 350-400 bodysurfers of all ages from around the world. The contest is projected to start at 6:30 a.m. each morning. The Men and Women’s Grand Championship Final will follow the last age group final.
