Earth Day Fun Zone at the Sunset Market 🌎

April 20, Sunset Market – Join MainStreet Oceanside and Green Oceanside Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Earth Day Fun Zone at the Sunset Market. Monarch Munchies Plant Giveaway 🌎

April 27, Sunset Market -Take home a plant next Thursday from the Monarch Munchies booth at the Sunset Market! On the final Thursday of Earth Month, MainStreet Oceanside is partnering with students at MiraCosta College to help save our local monarch butterfly population.The disappearance of milkweed plants is one of the primary factors in the Monarch severe population decline. “Living Will,” Daring Greatly, Jason Perez, Shane Hall Presents

April 21, 22, 27, 28, Oceanside Theatre Company – On Saturday at 8 p.m., Daring Greatly, a nominee for ”Best Rock Artist” at the San Diego Music Awards, will blend multiple genres, including soul, rock and Americana into a vibrant master class performance. On Friday at 7 p.m., Richard Lederer returns to OTC for a night of Shakespeare in “Living Will: Lederer on Shakespeare.” Next Thursday, San Diego Poet Laureate Jason Perez comes home to Oceanside at 7 p.m. to share his work in the city where he grew up. Oceanside Transit Center Redevelopment Community Meeting

April 26, Oceanside Public Library – North County Transit Distict is planning to redevelop the Oceanside Transit Center on South Tremont Street and they’d like to hear from you. They are holding a community meeting next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms. “The Little Mermaid”
