First Friday: Oceanside Art Walk

Celebrate the thriving arts and culture scene in the heart of Downtown Oceanside from 4-8 p.m. this Friday in Artist Alley, outside the Oceanside Public Library, and in surrounding areas. Oceanside Longboard Club Contest & Beach Festival

August 11-13, Oceanside Pier & Junior Seau Amphitheatre

This annual three-day family-friendly free event promises to provide the public with a wide variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Professional and amateur surfers from Hawaii, as far north as Santa Cruz to our southern border will compete for bragging rights in the Coalition of Surfing Clubs. 15th Annual North County Health & Wellness Fair

Downtown History Walk

Take a 2-hour history walk on the second Saturday with the Oceanside Historical Society where you will learn the historical significance of local homes, churches, banks, three Irving J. Gill buildings, the Oceanside Pier and bandshell, and a variety of other sites. Walks are free (donations accepted), open to everyone, and pleasantly paced so folks of all ages can participate.
