Sacramento. CA — Senate Republican Leader Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita) issues the following statement in response to Governor Newsom’s emergency proclamation to keep the lights on in California:
“Headlines say it all: The New York Times announced last week, ‘California to Ban the Sale of New Gasoline Cars.’ Today Newsweek declares, ‘Californians told not to charge electric cars just days after gas car sales banned.’ This governor can’t even keep the lights on, let alone provide enough energy for an all-electric state.”
