Oceanside, CA –Celebrate Women’s History Month with the Oceanside Chamber, the national Veterans Chamber of Commerce, and SCORE Mentors with women who have made history (military veterans) and military spouses (who are about to make history) graduate as the second Women Entrepreneur Incubator program cohort at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10th at the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, 928 N. Coast Hwy, Oceanside.
Interviews will be available with local participants and SCORE mentors. Each participant will receive certificates from the three program sponsors as well as from Assemblymember Tasha Boerner Horvath (76th district).
Why are we celebrating? Women, especially military spouses and female veterans, were disproportionately impacted by the Pandemic, with many forced out of the workplace. This is our joint call to action to empower these wonderful women!
The Women Entrepreneur Incubator program, which launched last fall via Zoom, is helping to train entrepreneurs to develop their part-time or full-time businesses. The next cohort begins April 21st from 2:30-4 p.m. and continues April 28, May 5th and May 12th. There are also plans to launch a youth-specific business incubator summer camp and business attire donations are also needed for student mock interviews.
