Deputies investigating reported fight and gunfire.
On Saturday, August 29, just before midnight, deputies from the San Marcos Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of a fight in the 1500 block of La Mirada Drive.
While deputies were driving to the scene, they received additional reports of gunfire being heard in the same area as the fight. When they arrived at the scene, deputies saw around 50 individuals attempting to leave a home. However, there was no sign of a fight taking place nor was anyone struck by gunfire.
Deputies did find and recover gun shell casings at the scene. So far, no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.

Oficiales investigan una pelea y disparos reportados.
El Sábado 29 de Agosto, poco antes de la medianoche, oficiales de la Estación del Alguacil de San Marcos acudieron a un aviso sobre una pelea en la cuadra 1500 de La Mirada Drive.
Mientras se dirigían al lugar, los oficiales recibieron informes adicionales de disparos en la misma zona donde se reportaba la pelea. Al llegar, observaron a unas 50 personas que intentaban salir de una vivienda. Sin embargo, no había indicios de que se estuviera produciendo una pelea ni se reportaron personas heridas por arma de fuego.
Los oficiales encontraron y recuperaron casquillos de bala en el lugar. Hasta el momento no se han realizado arrestos y la investigación continúa.
